News of Man City offering Haaland for sale at 100 million euros has emerged, and Real Madrid secretly celebrates.

AS reports that the selling price of Haaland by Man City will depend on the buying team. Specifically, the Norwegian forward will be priced at 200 million euros for Premier League clubs. But if the 23-year-old player wants to leave England, the current Champions League champions are willing to accept a figure “almost 100 million euros more than 200 million euros.”

Real Madrid has the opportunity to recruit Haaland at an affordable price.

Rafaela Pimenta, Haaland’s representative, has been careful to leave the possibility open for other clubs to recruit the Norwegian forward. “Our partners know that we always give them specific options to choose for their own future,” Pimenta said.

She also refused to comment on information regarding the release clause in Haaland’s contract with Man City, which could be activated by clubs outside of England. However, there are rumors that Haaland may join Real Madrid at some point in the future, especially since Pimenta is often seen at Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid is currently monitoring Kylian Mbappe’s situation as the French forward’s contract with PSG is about to expire. AS revealed that Mbappe has until January 15 to accept the offer from the Spanish royal club.

Regardless of what happens with Mbappe, Haaland will still be on Real Madrid’s radar. The Spanish club is always looking for high-profile signings that fit with the “Galacticos” transfer policy of President Florentino Perez.

Two years ago, Real Madrid participated in the race to sign both Haaland and Mbappe but was unsuccessful. With Mbappe’s deal currently stalled, the “White Ballet” seems likely to turn to Haaland if efforts to recruit the French forward once again fail.
