According to Bloomberg magazine, CR7 has chosen to make a significant investment in purchasing a villa on Jumeirah Bay Island, UAE. This island is famously known as the “Billionaire Island” because only billionaires have the capability to buy houses there.
This island is shaped like a seahorse and has an area of approximately 0.57 square kilometers. According to sources, Ronaldo has bought a villa covering around 30,000 square feet (equivalent to about 2,787 square meters). The price has not been disclosed, but the estimated value of this piece of land is up to $21 million. This figure could even be higher depending on market fluctuations.
According to Bloomberg sources, Ronaldo’s villa includes 6 bedrooms, a garage with a capacity for 7 cars, a rooftop swimming pool, and a private beach area for the family. Even the accommodation for the villa’s staff offers a view of the Dubai city center.
Furthermore, Ronaldo has become a part of the resident community of Jumeirah Bay Island. The Portuguese superstar has access to restaurants, resorts, and yacht clubs on the island. As all residents on the island are super-rich individuals, security in this area is always a top priority.
This is not the first time the Portuguese footballer has splurged on a luxurious mansion. With his colossal wealth and an income of up to 200 million euros per year, Ronaldo’s real estate investments are understandable. Currently, CR7 also owns another $21 million mansion in Cascais, Portugal.
