Selena Gomez reveals that touring had drained her energy and emotions as a singer.

In an interview with Time, Selena Gomez revealed her thoughts on her music career, stating that despite her desire to meet fans, she currently has no intention of returning to touring anytime soon.

“Nothing makes me happier than spending 90 minutes with fans and celebrating together,” Selena shared. “However, I’m emotionally exhausted. And then you realize you’re surrounded by a group of people you’re paying.”

The last time the former Disney star embarked on a tour was in 2016 after releasing the album “Revival.” However, the tour could not end smoothly as the singer struggled with anxiety, depression, and various side effects of lupus.

Adding more about her life, Selena explained further that she is being cautious about the people she spends time with. “It sounds so cliché, but girls are mean,” the star confessed. “It’s this weird competition that you’re in with other cool girls. I’ve almost become that person, and I don’t know where I belong.”

While she may not tour in the near future, Selena Gomez is currently extremely busy with various film-related projects. Earlier, the 1992-born star also revealed that she would focus on strengthening her acting career at this time and has no intention of returning to music.
