Ronaldo is striving to help Al Nassr recruit players for next season to conquer titles

The season ended unfavorably for Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr as they lost in the penalty shootout of the Saudi Cup final against Al Hilal. Throughout the season, Al Nassr couldn’t manage a single win against Al Hilal, and the victorious machine Al Hilal swept all domestic titles in Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo is inviting his former Real Madrid teammates, such as Nacho and Casemiro, to join him in Saudi Arabia.

However, Ronaldo continues to hold out hope for success at Al Nassr and, according to Spanish media, he has even invited his former Real Madrid comrades to play in the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo already has Marcelo Brozovic, Sadio Mane, Aymeric Laporte, and Otavio playing alongside him at Al Nassr, but he feels that this is not enough.

Since the Saudi Pro League allows for up to eight foreign players, Ronaldo is hoping Al Nassr will bring in the highest quality personnel possible to conquer the Saudi Arabian league. Marca (Spain) reports that Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernandez has received an offer from Al Nassr to reunite with Ronaldo, with a very attractive salary of around 200,000 euros per week.

This salary would allow Nacho to earn even more than his current wages at Real Madrid (164,000 euros per week). Nacho has not given a final answer to Real Madrid regarding his future, but he seems to be leaning towards leaving after being substituted in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.

Besides Nacho, Ronaldo also wants Casemiro to join him at Al Nassr. Casemiro has just had a declining season, and there is public opinion suggesting that he no longer has the capacity to play in the Premier League, while Manchester United is aiming to rejuvenate their squad for long-term success. The Brazilian player earns a high salary at MU, so if he leaves, he would only agree if he is paid £350,000 per week, a sum Al Nassr is capable of paying.

Not just targeting players, Al Nassr is also seeking talented individuals for management positions. According to Marca, they have set their sights on another former Real Madrid figure. Fernando Hierro left Club Deportivo Guadalajara a few days ago and has been invited by Al Nassr to become their sporting director. The former Real Madrid defensive midfielder has extensive experience in this role with the Spanish Football Federation and other clubs, as well as serving as an assistant to Carlo Ancelotti at the Bernabeu over a decade ago.
