Taylor Swift’s concert turned the Santiago Bernabeu stadium into a global focal point, while also bringing enormous profits to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid earns enormous profits thanks to Taylor Swift’s music event.

Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, reached an agreement with Sixth Street and Legends Hospitality regarding Real Madrid earning 70% of the revenue from Taylor Swift’s concert.

According to Defensa Central, the total income from Taylor Swift’s concert in the Spanish capital was 13 million euros. Therefore, Real “pocketed” about 9.1 million euros.

“The event held at the Santiago Bernabeu brings in significant profits for Real Madrid and demonstrates excellent prospects for the years to come,” Marca wrote.

In addition to the 70-30 revenue sharing ratio, Real also signed an agreement with Sixth Street and Legends to manage a portion of the commercial activities of the Santiago Bernabeu, in exchange for 360 million euros.

In May 2022, President Perez stated: “The transformation of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium will mark a turning point in the history of Real Madrid. The cooperative relationship with Sixth Street and Legends is the foundation to provide unique experiences.”

In reality, the new Santiago Bernabeu stadium has not been inaugurated but has been operational for some time. The stadium’s design is considered world-class.

The flexibility of the stadium, especially with its retractable roof, makes the Santiago Bernabeu an ideal venue for various types of events alongside traditional sports, such as concerts, exhibitions, conferences, and more.

According to the agreement reached, the Santiago Bernabeu will also host an annual National Football League (NFL) game, starting from 2025. This demonstrates the enormous potential of this legendary stadium.
