Haaland, Palmer, and Watkins had the best individual performances in attack last season, while Rodri, Palhinha, and Guimaraes dominated the midfield.

Top scorer (27 goals, Man City): Erling Haaland scored nine goals fewer than the record he set last season but still topped the chart, five goals ahead of second-place Cole Palmer.

The Man City forward also had the most shots last season, with 121 attempts.

Top assist provider (13 assists, Aston Villa): English forward Ollie Watkins had two more assists than Palmer, while Kevin De Bruyne ranked third along with seven other players, each with 10 assists. Due to injury, De Bruyne played only 18 matches, 19 fewer than Watkins and 16 fewer than Palmer.

Player with the most combined goals and assists (22 goals, 11 assists): Cole Palmer had the most direct goal involvements in the league, ahead of Haaland (27 goals, 5 assists) and Watkins (19 goals, 13 assists).

Player with the most chances created (114 times): Despite criticism regarding his playing style and effectiveness, Bruno Fernandes led the Premier League 2023-2024 in chances created for teammates.

Man Utd may not have fully utilized their captain’s talents, or the surrounding players may not have been good enough to form a strong attack. This season, the “Red Devils” scored only 57 goals, the fewest among the top 10 teams in the Premier League.

Player with the most through balls (39 times): Martin Odegaard led the league in through balls that created attacking opportunities. The Arsenal captain also provided 10 assists, the same as Kevin De Bruyne.

Player with the most passes (3,631 times): Rodri achieved this in 33 matches. The 27-year-old Spanish midfielder also had the most ball recoveries, with 235 successful challenges.

Player with the most tackles (152): Joao Palhinha led in tackles made across 33 matches. He also shared the record for most yellow cards, with 13, along with Marcos Senesi.

The Portuguese midfielder nearly moved to Bayern last summer for $70 million, but Fulham retained him due to not finding a replacement. This season, Palhinha scored four goals, including a crucial equalizer in the 87th minute in a 2-2 draw against Arsenal at the Emirates.

Player with the most pressures (1,240 times): Dominic Solanke led the league in pressing opposing players. The hardworking Bournemouth forward also scored 19 goals and provided three assists, significantly contributing to his team’s 12th-place finish.

The player who covers the most distance (423 km in 37 matches) is Bruno Guimaraes (left), continuing to impress in his second season with Newcastle. Prior to that, the 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder also performed well in two and a half seasons with the French club Lyon.

The player who played the most minutes apart from goalkeepers (3,420 minutes) is William Saliba (above) of Arsenal and Max Kilman of Wolves jointly leading in terms of playing time across 37 matches. The French center-back played a significant role in Arsenal’s second-place finish, especially with their unbeaten record against top-six opponents.

Max Kilman had previously represented the England futsal team 25 times before joining Wolves in 2018. As of now, the 26-year-old Ukrainian-born center-back has played 126 Premier League matches and 150 matches across all competitions for the ‘Wolves’.

The goalkeeper with the most clean sheets (16 matches) is David Raya, deserving the Golden Glove award for the Premier League 2023-2024 season after keeping 16 clean sheets for Arsenal. Following closely behind are six goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford (Everton, 13 clean sheets), Ederson (Man City, 10), Bernd Leno (Fulham, 10), Andre Onana (Man Utd, 9), Alisson (Liverpool, 8), and Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa, 8).
