Ronaldo Reunites with Neymar, Sports Stars Gather at Fury vs. Usyk Boxing Showdown

In the early hours of May 19 (Vietnam time), the global sports community turned its attention to the unified boxing championship showdown between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, where four championship belts were on the line.

The match took place at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which has a seating capacity of 22,000 and attracted numerous celebrities, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. Before the main event, the two superstars had a friendly conversation outside the stadium.

After years of rivalry at Real Madrid and Barcelona, Ronaldo and Neymar now play for opposing Saudi Arabian clubs, Al Nassr and Al Hilal, respectively. In addition to Neymar, Ronaldo was seated next to former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua.

When asked to predict the winner, Neymar confidently placed his faith in Fury. Another notable figure supporting “The Gypsy King” was Steven Gerrard, the current manager of Al Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League. The Liverpool legend even visited Fury’s locker room to offer encouragement.

On Usyk’s side, the Ukrainian fighter received support from several sports legends, including former striker Andriy Shevchenko and ex-boxer Wladimir Klitschko.

After 12 rounds, Usyk defeated Fury by split decision (115-112, 113-114, 114-113), becoming the first undisputed heavyweight boxing champion of the four-belt era.


Ronaldo was seated next to former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua.

The event that attracted many sports stars to attend, such as defender Laporte (Al Nassr), coach Steven Gerrard, former forward Andriy Shevchenko, and former boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
