Man City made a difference in their away match against Tottenham. Haaland scored a brace quite easily to help the Manchester blues win 2-0.

These two goals brought Haaland’s total to 63 goals in 65 Premier League appearances (across two seasons). According to Opta, the Norwegian striker has become the highest scorer in the Premier League within the first two seasons of participating in the league.

At the age of 23, Haaland has become the fourth-highest scorer for Man City in Premier League history. Only Aguero (184 goals), Sterling (91 goals), and De Bruyne (68 goals) have better records than Haaland.

The opening goal that Man City scored against Tottenham also marked a significant milestone. Specifically, it was the first goal that the Manchester blues had ever scored at Tottenham’s new stadium.

Haaland is also racing ahead in the Premier League Golden Boot race. He currently has 27 goals in 30 matches, dominating the top spot. Palmer is behind Haaland, trailing by 5 goals.

With the current situation, it is difficult for the Premier League Golden Boot title for the 2023/24 season to slip out of Haaland’s hands. It’s worth remembering that in the 2022/23 season, Haaland achieved this title with a record of scoring 36 goals against opponents.

De Bruyne, who assisted Haaland in the aforementioned goal, also marked an impressive record. He has now had six Premier League seasons with 10 or more assists each season. Only Cesc Fabregas has achieved a similar statistic.
